Messanges
Le Moussaillon campsite in Messanges, is located just 2000 m from a vast sandy beach. Messanges is a pretty Gascon village with a lovely atmosphere that is sure to delight.
Part of the route that leads to the beach, follows a pretty winding path through the forest and surrounding countryside.
There are some pretty, little towns nearby with shops and amenities: Vieux Boucau, Moliets, Soustons, etc.
There are numerous markets in both Messanges and Vieux Boucau selling a wealth of regional products. The forest, lakes, extensive cycle paths and, of course, the sea, all contribute to the region’s charm.
The lake of Moïsan, the lake of la Prade and the Atlantic Ocean are perfect for a spot of fishing.
The Landes campsite Le Moussaillon is close to the Ocean, to its fine white sandy beaches, natural beaches of course.
The lakes and ponds alternate with the forest, the hiking trails and above all the cycle paths which plunge you into the heart of the Landes forest.
